WORKSHOPS & BUILD-YOUR-OWN

Well Creativity Workshops

Currently offered for children (but can be adapted for any age), these workshops invite participants to explore the connection between creativity and wellness through guided prompts, time with various art materials, reflection, and discussions. Basic concepts of Focusing, felt sense, resonance, and the creative attitude will be introduced.

No art or creative experience is necessary. These workshops are about the insight gained from going through the creative process, not producing a finished product.

In Winter 2026 I am offering three workshops for grades 5-6 on early-dismissal Fridays 2/6, 3/6, 4/10 in partnership with Tri-Town Council: tritowncouncil.org.

PhotoVoice

PhotoVoice is an after-school youth-directed program for grades 7-12 offered in partnership with Tri-Town Council: tritowncouncil.org. Members explore photography, writing, and other arts to create and express youth voice about topics that matter to them. No art or creative experience is necessary.

Finished artwork is displayed in the Tri-Town community and at locations that support youth voice and well-being, such as the Youth At Risk Conference held at Endicott College in May.

In Winter 2026, PhotoVoice meets on Wednesdays Jan 7-Mar 18. Learn more and see work from previous years at: tritowncouncil.org/photovoice.

Build Your Own Workshop/Series

You have great ideas! This option is a chance to get creative with a structure, setting, and purpose that you envision. I have no doubt you have a sense of how Focusing and creative expression might help you and/or people you care about.

Here are some possibilities you might consider:

  • a workshop series with a small group of children, tweens, or teens, at your home after school

  • workshops at a school, home-school, community, or wellness center

  • a parent/guardian workshop to support self-care and youth/family development

  • sessions for seniors at an assisted living or memory care unit

  • a team-building activity for professionals in education, healthcare, services, business, athletics, arts, or other field

  • a collaborative community art project

Contact me with your ideas and questions, and we can develop a plan.

INDIVIDUAL CREATIVITY SESSIONS

Creativity and Wellness Tutoring

These sessions are gently-guided, one-to-one meetings that aim to empower individuals with knowledge, awareness, experience, and skills for using Focusing and your own unique creative expression.

These sessions (typically 2 hours) are based on the premise that your creativity and inner felt sense have a lot to offer. Meetings are not therapy—but they can be helpful for people in any situation or life chapter: children, teens, adults, seniors; anyone going through something difficult, in recovery or a healing process, facing a transition, managing decisions, stress, or everyday life, seeking deeper self-awareness or connectedness with others, working on a creative project, or any other reason.

Meeting location can be in-home, at a facility/hospital/center, virtual, or any other agreed location.
